Kitchens from Germanyby Tischlermeister Daniel Helmut Pinger
Questions

Questions we are often asked

Who will I deal with?

With Daniel Helmut Pinger, the German master carpenter who plans your kitchen, from the first consultation to the handover.

Where are the kitchens made?

In Germany. Cabinetry, fronts and joinery are produced by German workshops and manufacturers to our drawings. Stone worktops are usually templated and cut locally after installation, so they fit exactly.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We currently plan, deliver and install in the United States, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

Do you show prices on the website?

No. Every kitchen is planned for one room, so the price depends on size, materials and appliances. You receive a fixed price with the offer, including shipping, customs and installation.

Can I use European appliances in the US?

European appliances are built for 230 V and 50 Hz. In the US we plan with US-market appliances, which keeps warranty and service local. In the UK and the UAE most German built-in appliances can be used.

Do you work with my architect or interior designer?

Yes. Most of our projects run with an architect, an interior designer or a contractor. We provide shop drawings in the format they use.

How do customs and duties work?

A licensed customs broker clears the kitchen in your country. Duties and import taxes are calculated and set out in our offer.

Who installs the kitchen?

Installation is supervised by a German master carpenter. Plumbing, electrics and gas are connected by licensed local trades, whom we brief with exact drawings.

Do you offer other joinery?

Yes: dressing rooms, wardrobes, libraries, media walls, pantries and bars, made in the same workshop as your kitchen.

How do we start?

Book a private consultation. We talk about the house, the way you cook and the materials you like, and agree the next step, usually a survey and first drawings.
